Description

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT set of WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy 7Γ—50 Field Binoculars!Complete with the original Case, Strap, and Sun Filters, this style was specifically used by personnel for observation, recognition, and reconnaissance purposes! These binoculars were carried by most member of the military, and featured uncoated lenses (as with most Japanese binoculars).Made of aluminum, brass, and steel, these 7Γ—50 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original black finish, as well as the end piece fittings. Eye sockets are present, and focus adjustments work as they should! Both eye piece optics are AMAZINGLY clear, with no haziness, however they are a couple of spots when looking through (appears to be dried wax). Optical Alignment (collimation), is PERFECT! The right side body is clearly marked, '7x50mm';and the left side is marked with a stylized Kanji manufacture markings and serial number. These come complete with the original blue canvas Carrying Case, as well as the original Strap and Sun Filters! Some very slightwear due to the age, but otherwise quite solid. Would make a SUPERB addition to any Japanese or optics collection!
