WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Höhenmesser – ALTIMETER – Me109 Fw190 Ju87 – NICE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB used example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-10km Hohenmesser (Altimeter), Fl. 22320, as used in the Me109, Fw190, Me110, Ju87, and other aircraft!This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure.It was located on the main instrument panel of many early and late-war German aircraft.Made of black bakelite, this is an AMAZING used example, dating earlier in the war.The FL. number is clearly marked on the face, indicating Fl. 22320, and the data label on the reverse is complete! There are some light marks and scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. Responds to air pressure, but not sure how accurate this is, so it may need an overhaul for airworthy function.I have indicated it's location in the last photos.A PERFECT item for any collection, display, or restoration project!
