WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Vorratsanzeiger – FUEL GAUGE – Me109 – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-400 Litre Elek. Vorrats-Anzeiger (Electrical Fuel Gauge), Fl. 20723, used ONLY in the Me109 series aircraft!This is the later style Me109 Fuel Gauge which dates around 1943-1945. It was mounted on the forward instrument panel and indicated the current Fuel Capacity of the main tanks.Made of aluminum and bakelite, this instrument is in EXCELLENT used condition and all dials work smoothly and correctly. 90% of the original paint remains, and the Fl. label is 95% complete, clearly indicating the number 'Fl. 20723, Me109'. Some slight wear due to use, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. I have indicated its location in the last photo. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection, panel re-build, or restoration project!
