Identity Bracelet.

Most unusual WW I sterling silver identity bracelet that belonged to a British Volunteer of the ' Service Sanitaire Anglaise '. The bracelet is inscribed, ' Joshua Bower / C of E / S.S.A.10 / Armee Francaise ' with a home address in Wiltshire a makers mark and the Sterling Silver stamp to the reverse. This was a British funded private ambulance service serving with the French Army in the First World War.
