A scarce original First World War period 'Earl Kitchener large celluloid fundraising tin button badge bearing black and white photographic image of the Earl in uniform displaying his orders and medal awards; the rim impressed with maker's details 'DORRETT & MARTIN. LONDON. S.W.' and title 'EARL KITCHENER.' and 'PHOTO LONDON STERIO Co.' Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, small defect to rim on reverse.Diameter approx 32mm.Horatio Herbert Kitchener became an Earl in 1914.He died 5 June 1916.
