This example of the biographical reference work 'Wie is dat?' was published in September 1931 by Martinus Nijhoff in The Hague and comes from the personal possession of the well-known NSB member Max Blokzijl in Berlin. The book contains details of approximately 2,500 prominent figures from the Kingdom of the Netherlands (the Netherlands, East and West Indies), including their publications, positions, and addresses. This particular copy originates from the personal library of Max Blokzijl. He became head of the movement's press department and later one of the most notorious propagandists of National Socialism in the Netherlands, infamous for his radio broadcasts, the so-called 'Praatjes van Max Blokzijl' ('Talks of Max Blokzijl').After the liberation in 1945 he was arrested, and in 1946 he was convicted of collaboration and treason and executed.Article number:16602
