You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-10km Hohenmesser (Altimeter), Fl. 22316-10, as used in the Ju52, Bu131, KL35, He72, and other German fighter aircraft!This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of many mid-war German aircraft.Made of black bakelite, this is an EXCELLENT example. The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating all information (manufacture, werk. number, etc.), and Fl. 22316-10 is clearly legible on the face. There are some minor scratches, marks, and wear, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. I have shown its location in the Ju52 in the last image. 100% functional, it would make a PERFECT example for any collection or display!
