WW2 German Luftwaffe – PROPELLER PITCH INDICATOR – Me109 Do17 He111 – NICE!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Luftschraubenstellungsanzeiger (Prop Pitch Indicator), Fl. 18505-1 (9-9500.60), as used in Me109 E, Do17, Do217, He111, and others!This electrical instrument was used to indicate the angle of the air screw in the form a clock dial, with the engine prop beginning at the 12:00 position.This was used in various early aircraft, although the Fl. 18503-2, 9-9500.31, and 9-9548 B were used in later versions.Apart from changing from electrical to mechanical, the difference was marginal.Mounted on the main instrument panel.Made of with an aluminum housing by Hartmann & Braun AG, this instrument is in VERY NICE used condition!90% of the original finish remains, and the part number is imprinted on the dial indicating , 9-9500.60 (Fl. 18505-1). There is some slight staining, marks, and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts. I have indicated its location in the last photos.Would make for a PERFECT addition to any display, collection, or restoration project!
