A rare original superb late 1940's period 'Florence Nightingale School of Nursing silver nurses badge', the reverse embossed with 'Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital' and inscribed to the recipient 'MARGERY N BUCHANAN 1947'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fitting, remarkably without any enamel damage or restoration, very rare to find in this condition.Height approx 40mm.
