Original era photography. A large format, 8x9 sepia image (8x10 mount), of a dozen men, 10 of which are wearing the dress uniforms of US Army officers, the remaining two are in civilian dress.On the reverse of the image is the photographers name S. DaweS, Bozeman Mont', and is perhaps an example of his work taken at nearby Fort Ellis, circa mid 1880's.The image is slightly faded, but excellent detail remains under magnification.
