A scarce original circa 1980's period 'Joint Nursing And Midwives Council For Northern Ireland State Enrolled Nurse pin badge'; chromium plated oval example with white enamel title surround and 'Red Hand of Ulster' to centre on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'THOMAS FATTORINI LTD REGENT ST BIRMINGHAM' and inscribed 'E.E.J.CRANSTON 1291'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.Height approx 41mm.
