Unissued Original German WWII Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) Jump Gloves Size 8 With RBNr Dated 1944Fallschirmjäger gloves were part of the paratrooper uniform, designed for airborne drops where soldiers needed durable hand protection when handling parachute lines, equipment, and during combat landings. There is elastic gathering at the wrist to ensure a snug fit and prevent slipping during jumps. Their construction also made them popular among front line troops beyond paratroopers.These authentic gray leather gloves are not lined. They do have a RBNr (Reichsbetriebsnummer), dated 1944 and are size 8 in white ink stamping on the inside. The pair is in excellent to mintcondition. Theelastic gathering at the wrist is also in excellent condition.The stitching is intact throughout. Very minor signs of age and wear are present, but overall the gloves retain excellent display quality.
