Description

A rare and early Luftwaffe four-pocket service tunic (Waffenrock), tailored by C.W. Leux, Frankfurt am Main, and officially depot-marked L.B.A. 1939 (Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt acceptance stamp). This tunic belonged to an enlisted man of the elite 'Hermann Göring' Division, as confirmed by the original 'HERMANN GÖRING' cufftitle on the left sleeve.Insignia: Original machine-embroidered Luftwaffe eagle (2nd pattern), Flieger collar tabs with red piping (Flak artillery), and matching shoulder boards.Buttons: Aluminum, all factory-matched, most dated '39' (1939).Stamps: Clearly marked with maker C.W. Leux, Ffm, size markings, and L.B.A. 1939 depot stamp.Condition: Excellent early-war example, untouched, with all insignia period-applied.The Division 'Hermann Göring' began as a police unit personally under Hermann Göring and was expanded into a Luftwaffe Flak regiment, later becoming the elite Fallschirm-Panzer-Division Hermann Göring. Early uniforms with original cufftitle are highly sought-after and very scarce on the collector's market.A superb and untouched example of a Luftwaffe enlisted tunic directly connected to one of the most famous elite units of the German armed forces.
