This 100 Kronen banknote was issued in the Theresienstadt (Terezín) ghetto and concentration camp during the Second World War.Issued in 1943, it was part of the internal camp currency system and had no value outside the ghetto.The obverse depicts a detailed portrait of Moses holding the stone tablets with Hebrew inscriptions, along with the denomination '100 Kronen' and a Star of David.The reverse features ornate lettering with the text 'Quittung über Hundert Kronen' (Receipt for Hundred Kronen), dated January 1st, 1943, and signed by the 'Älteste der Juden in Theresienstadt' (Elder of the Jews in Theresienstadt).The banknote is well-preserved and shows crisp details.Article number: 16722
