Light worn M40 Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. Luftwaffe decal on the left side rating over 50%. The helmet shows light wear and is coated in blue field paint. The helmet is complete with its steel banded liner, dated 1940. The split pins remain tight and untouched. The leather is still supple and stong for its age. Draw string is a replacement. Nice big sized helmet by Quist size 66, lot number 4945. Looks to have been used as a fire helmet after the war that was painted red. All red paint is gone now but left a few traces. Prices accordingly.
