Very attractive M35 army steel helmet, being factory reissued and received a thick grey spray painted exterior, covering the previous layer. Decal once sat on thenew paint was removed due regualtions, but there is also a decal still present under the paint. Original installed liner size 56, with full length draw string. Complete with mid-war chin strap, marked with a RBNr. A very nice reissued helmet, that unlike most reissued pieces having a new spray painted exterior and interior! Dome stamp still visible, as well is the reissue size stamp in the dome '56'. Original reinforced aluminum liner still present, shows spray paint on the liner band, so it never left the helmet during the reissue process – dated 1940. Shell markings ET64 4801.
