Very nice standard enlisted M36 Feldbluse that was period converted to be worn by an officer by adding a larger collar and a dagger hanger. This was of course common practice as officers would not always wear their tailor made jackets into combat but rather have a enlisted men model like this. The jacket is complete with all of its insignia. The gold piped collar tabs and shoulder boards indicate this was a 'Hauptmann' of an AufklΓ€rer-Regiment or Kavallerie Regiment The jacket shows a lot of moth damage, but once dress on a mannequin, it's quite hard to see. The liner looks nice and shows minimal wear. It is size marked and dated 1937 and maker marked H.G.S. A nice and original early officer jacket!
