Genuine M35 Luftwaffe helmet, started its life as a pre-war glossy blue double decal steel helmet. Was camouflaged in Mediterranean red-brown color, neatly painted around the Luftwaffe eagle and covering the tri color shield, per 1940 regulations. Complete with genuine reinforced aluminum liner, dated 1939. Leather remains strong and supple. Draw string is a replacement. Split pins remain straight and show nice patina. A very attractive camo helmet in an usual and rarely seen color.
