Swiss Model 1914 Pioneer Bayonet, Leather Scabbard

Original period manufacture. Massive, Swiss made Pioneer bayonet, with a 19 inch polished steel blade with a sawback spine. The blade is bright and clean with a little bit of discoloration at the point. Sound original finish wooden grips. The blade, guard and pommel have a post production chrome finish to them, perhaps for parade, or ceremonial use.Sound black leather bodied scabbard with steel throat and chape, quality Swiss manufacture throughout.
