Stunning M35 army camo helmet. Started as an apple green double decal helmet. Was camouflaged in thick concrete-style structured paint. Aftwards it was camouflaged with a brush in three tone (Normandy) camouflage paint red-tan-green. The exterior shows light wear, preserving most of its camouflage. Early-war interior with fragile single band aluminum liner, that shows a typical crack (hence they made the reinforced liners later in the war). The band is dated 1935. Early leather remains in good and strong condition and shows the early pressed size stamp in the leather. Draw string and chin strap both present. Named in the rear. Very nice complete untouched camouflage helmet!
