Stunning, light worn M40 Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. Started as a blue single decal LW helmet and was first camouflaged in bright tan sand color camo for Afrika or Mediterranean theatre of war. Afterwards spray painted again in three tone 'Normandy' colors (Tan, Brown, Green) covering the Luftwaffe eagle decal. The ghost of the decal still is visible. Liner remains in good, but dry, condition and is complete. Split pins remain untouched. Maker marked by Quist size 62, lotnumber 258. A beautiful normandy camouflage helmet!
