A nice and genuine mid war M1942 pattern Luftwaffe steel helmet that started its life as a blue single decal example. The helmet was most likely issued by a Flak or Field Division unit, as it was propperly camouflage in thick woodchip mixed camouflage paint, both in red/brown and green colors. The decal was covered but still some small area's where the paint didn't go, shows parts of the feathers of the eagle decal. Complete with original installed liner, leather executed in desirable 'pig-skin'. Complete with genuine draw string and full length chin strap. The strap shows a manufacturer on the tip. Split pins straight and untouched. Shell markings ET62 – 2700. Initials KHL scratched inside.
