Dutch Subaltern Officer's Kepi 6th Regiment Infantry (Subalterne Officier's Kepie). This kepi was part of the 'buitenmodel' tunic, these tunics were privately purchased tunics in field blue-grey woolen cloth. Soldierswho were not able to buy a complete tunic often bought only the kepi. This is a nice fieldgrey Kepi as inteded for a Subaltern Officer having double golden piping, these are placed on top of previous EM's blue piping. The kepi is complete with its original leather chinstrap. The kepi is complete with a nice officers quality hand-embroidered cocarde. The cypher '6' indicates an officer within the 6th Regiment Infantry. The leather sweatband is in good used condition. The kepi is not visible maker marked. The Kepi is showing some normal traces of usage and a few small damages, see photos. Nice original Kepi in good used condition!
