WH (Heer) Tropical Breeches

WH (Heer) Tropical Breeches (Tropen Stiefelhose). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'. This is a second pattern, light weight, olive/khaki green, cotton construction breeches with a pronounced, vertical, ribbed weave. The horizontal waistband has a tunnel loop which houses a built-in olive/khaki cotton belt. The breeches are faintly marked. The pants are in clearly used and worn condition, there are normal traces of usage, see photos. Nice original tropical breeches!
