Excellent M38 pattern '39 dated gas mask with shape retainer frame, mask is complete with all removable straps and slides, the straps' elasticized portions are still strong, the molded black rubber mask is still fresh and is absent cracks or deformation, the lenses have yellowed and one is a bit warped, the mask's snout has a raised triangular maker's logo and 39 in a circle, the filter is well marked and both pieces retain almost all of their factory paint, the retainer frame is made of steel wire with curved aluminum panels, several of the photos show the mask resting vertically on a small stand, this is not part of the filter, USD $300
