Fallschirmjäger Regiment two color camouflage helmet, the helmet's factory painted shell is almost completely covered in the base deep tan with predominate green color overspray including the wood chip texture normally associated with helmets worn by members of FJR.6, each of the four bolts retain their camouflage paint, there are minor scratches to the top, a larger scratch to the rear upper dome and a couple of small rubbed spots where the darkened base steel may be seen, shell stamp is ET71, lot number may read 5058 though the first two digits are indistinct, the liner band is aluminum and the seven black rubber cushioning pads are firmly attached, the spanner bolts' nuts are free of scratches, the russet brown colored leather liner is faintly stamped with the (seldom seen) maker's information, Bledermann and Czarnikow, the initials R.K. are penned to the central liner seam area, the left rear liner edge has the inked name Pahle Otto, additional name(s) or some other wording are penciled to the shell's inner rim the same area, the liner shows wear from coming into contact with the head but is not chafed, torn or damaged in any way, the chin harness is complete, functional and without loose stitches, it is manufactured of dark grey leather with suede reverse, the retaining clip is steel, the slides move freely and the snap is marked PRYM 4H, this ultra desirable helmet shows just light service use and there are no liabilities, USD $16,000 HOLD
