DRK Style Canteen No Markings

Period German 3/4L canteen with blue cover and aluminum cup. It is in good condition with some minor moth damage in the cover. There are no markings on this one. These are rather hard to date precisely. The style is typical for DRK and civilian canteens from the 1930's and beyond. The materials and construction are earlier in style and the cover has the typical WWII type snaps. The DRK did continue to use these in the post war years and the materials did slowly change over time. Everything about this canteen is correct for war time but I can not rule out the possibility of it being early post war manufactured. It is a nice fairly clean, lightly used example.
