German Traditional Knit Sweater (BDM)

Vintage 1930s / 1940s German traditional knit sweater. Also worn by BDM girls.MEASUREMENTS (approximate):Bust- 29'-32'Waist- 22'-24'Length- 15'Sleeve(shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 19 3/4'Nice black wool knit sweater with green and red trim. Metal buttons. Green ties at the collar and at the waist. The waist is tailored in to give it a flattering look. Super cute sweater that gained popularity in the 1930s and was made for many decades after. It was popular with the BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel - League of German Girls) as well and was an approved garment for certain regions.Good condition. There are just a few pulls in the material and on seams. The top button is a little loose and could be sewn in better.
