German WWII Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge, Field Recovered

Original period manufacture. Zinc badge with a brass Luftwaffe eagle at top. There is a steel hinge and catch base plate on the reverse, showing signs of glue attachment. The body of the badge shows evidence of pitting from being ground recovered.
