German WWII Screwback Iron Cross 1st Class, Soldier Modified

Original period manufacture. Magnetic center EK1, screwback, unmarked as to maker. Mix of original plating and patina on the edge frame, most of the original finish remains on the iron core. The most intriguing aspect of this Iron Cross are the four soldered pointed stabilizers on the reverse of each arm.
