An original German Puder Stiefel foot/body powder container made from red/brown Bakelite in the shape of a typical Wehrmacht jackboot. It is a fantastic piece of advertising and product design. The top of the boot has a threaded cap embossed with the makers name Pudan. Under the cap is a second threaded cap with the holes to distribute the powder. The actual powder container is a simple cylinder and the extra toe part is hollowed out from the underside. inside the toe is embossed with ges.gesch.d.Wz. and D.R.Gm. and D.R.Geschm.M. Since is has a screw closure it doesn't leak powder quite as much as the normal metal foot powder containers. There is still some powder residue inside. These are quite hard to find.Condition:AS-IS. There is a sizeable chip in the lid. It still functions. Lots of tape residue.WE HAVE A REPRODUCTION AVAILABLEHERE.As shown in the book'Ruhetag: The Day-to-Day Life of the German Soldier in WWII Volume I: Health and Hygiene' by LTC (Retired) Jimmy L. Pool
