Original Deutsche Helden Zigarette cigarette tin. It is in ok condition with some wear, fading, and some light rust inside. If I had to guess I would say this was WWI, and based on what little information I can find, that seems to be accurate. One source dated the tin to 1914 somehow and others range from 1900-1930. The general style of it is very fitting for WWI graphics.
