This is an attractive example of a (typical) linnen-based- and/or neatly 'machine-embroidered', beige-white-coloured DRK- (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'-) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as was intended for usage by the various staff-members of the: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' (or: German Red Cross) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. These neat beige-white-coloured and/or: linnen-based armbands showing the (interwoven) text: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' were used by the various voluntary (civil and mainly female) staff-members serving within the: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' (or: German Red Cross). The armband on offer here comes in a full-length condition and measures (folded) approximately 33,5 x 12,5 cms.: it is executed on somewhat 'course-like' linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows some minimal staining ie. dust simply caused by decades of storage only. This example is totally void of an ink-stamp (ie. 'Dienstsiegel') something that is more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'-armband that is I deem accordingly priced!
