An interesting notice requesting to purchase a Double Action Frontier in 44 caliber, 7 1/2 inch barrel, mailed to the Colt Patented Firearms Company of Harford Connecticut in 1884. The sender was the firm of John P. Moore's Sons of New York City. Nice little piece of postal history from one of the most famous gunmakers in the world.Typical handling and wear.
