Original period manufacture. An interesting notice of shipment of a firearm repair, mailed to the Colt Patented Firearms Company of Harford Connecticut in November 1883. The sender was the J.A.Fairbanks firm of Augusta Maine.Nice little piece of postal history to one of the most famous gunmakers in the world.Typical handling and wear.
