Original period manufacture. Two period documents pertaining to the Widow's Pension of Nancy Brockway, whose husband Isaac served on the USS Independence during the Mexican War. She was entitled to the sum of 8 dollars per month, per the date of November 16th, 1891. Should be a fun research project, the documents are sound, very readable and measure about 8.5 x 11 inches.
