German Imperial Era, Old Model Infantry Officers Sword, Triple Etched Blade

Original period manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 31 inches in length, with an etched design on both sides of the blade and spine. Fine quality brass guard, one side folds up for wear. Two types of twisted wire used to form the grip covering, very nice quality. Black leather bodied scabbard, which amazingly is not broken, brass throat and chape. A sword pattern used prior to 1889, including the Franco-Prussian War.
