This is a KNIL certificate from 1941 and the diploma was awarded to Reserve First Lieutenant of Artillery Ir. G.H. Pesman of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army.The document was issued by the 'Association of Reserve Officers of the KNIL' and granted for the successful completion of the two-day military performance march.The march included 30 km on horseback, 200 km by motorcycle, 20 km on foot, and 50 km by bicycle.In addition, participants had to remain for half an hour in a defensive position in full gear and with a gas mask.The diploma is dated October 11, 1941, and was signed in Bandoeng by the Organizing Committee and Major General H.L.
