1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star with France And Germany Clasp, Pacific Star, 1939-45 War Medal & EIIR 2nd type Cadet forces long service medalTo- R.LOWSON.A.C.FRonald Lowson was born in Chester Le Street, County Durham 7-10-1923 & was working as a spray painter when he enlisted in to the Royal Navy 20-10-1941 with service number JX.315893. He served with the Royal Naval patrol service in the Atlantic & the Pacific until his discharge in 1946. He went on to become an adult cadet instructor with the army cadet force & was awarded the cadet force long service 5-9-1975 for his services as a S.M.I with Tyne & Wear ACF in Durham.NEF & Swing mounted as worn. Complete with original Royal Navy service papers, 3x WW2 period photographs of the recipient in uniform & a modern photograph of the recipient in old age wearing his medals at the national memorial arboretum.
