WW1 1914-15 TrioTo- 409.SPR.C.DARLING.R.ECharles Darling was both born & enlisted in Hull & first landed in France 18-9-1915 serving with the 1/1st East Riding Field Company of the Royal Engineers. He died of wounds due to the effects of mustard gas poisoning 9-5-1916 age 23 & is buried in Bailleul communal cemetery extension at Nord & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Thomas & Harriett Darling of 67 Gaven Streetm Holderness Road, Hull, East Yorkshire.NEF & Complete with MIC details, CWGC & SDGW details, pension card details
