WW1 Victory medalTo- 14513.PTE.W.BLAMIRES.W.RID,RWalter Blamires was both born & enlisted in Bradford & prior to his war service he was employed as a woolcomb maker in Bradford. He died of wounds in France & Flanders 11-7-1916 having been mortally wounded the day before. He was serving with the 10th service battalion of the regiment at the time of his death & is buried in Fricourt British cemtery.GVF & Complete with MIC details. Along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
