WW1 French Artillery Gunners M15 Adrian Helmet

A totally untouched WW1 French Artillery Gunners Adrian helmet of the 1915 model with earlier light blue paint finish hand overpainted in the darker blue as per the 1916 order to darken the finish for camouflage reasons.A helmet that has clearly been worn in the trenches of the Great War ithas evident heavy wear with some small dents to right side of the shell & a small hit to one side of the front brim typical of blast damage. Liner is of multi construction seen as of 1916 with original tightening string intact. The lighter blue finish is visible inside the dome of the helmet. Chinstrap intact.
