WW1 Antrum Allen Reading Harness Maker 1915 On War Service Badge

A rare original First World War period 'Antrum Allen On War Service 1915 identification badge'; ornate gilt brass example bearing white enamel title surround, the centre with blue enamel embossed shield depicting five maidens heads from the Reading Berkshire coat of arms; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Medallist Bolton' and 'Reg.638232' a design and registration date of 1914. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel.Height approx 29mm.
