A scarce original First World War period 'Church Army Hut Workers home front badge'; gilt brass example in the form of a shield bearing a Celtic Cross symbol to the centre on red enamel ground. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel.Height approx 28mm.During the First World War the Church Army had over eight hundred Huts, Tents & Centres to maintain.
