ORIGINAL LUFTWAFFE 'BOMBER'CLASP IN SILVER.

Whist I don't usually buy combat badges etc occasionally I will get one as part of a deal, or be offered an original one from source. This is a very nice 100% LUFTWAFFE BOMBERS CLASP (Frontflugspange)in silver. Awarded for 60 flown missions. Instituted by Herman Goring in January 1941. This example is marked on the reverse F &BL which is Funke & Brüninghaus (F&BL) - Ludenscheid. Quite lot of the silver finish remains. Bronze flying wing riveted to center. Reverse has a classic 'coke bottle' shaped pin. Nice hinge and separately applied hook.
