One of the best looking combinations and now VERY hard to find. This is a lovely looking navy dagger made by WKC with a deep orange solid celluloid grip and thick silver bullion 42cm knot. WKC were one of the very few makers who had these coloured grips. I am pretty sure it was a requested cost option as most WKC daggers have a normal cream celluloid over wood grip. These solid celluloid grips go from a mid-yellow to deep orange and the colour after all these years is caused by exposure to sunlight. The dagger is a classic WKC product in all brass. Nice detailed eagle pommel. Orange grip with brass wire. A nice thick corded 42cm bullion knot that is tied in the correct manner and 'set' in place. Lightening bolt scabbard in near perfect shape. The blade is in mint condition with deep grey perfect etching featuring anchor and dolphin motifs. Needle sharp point.
