RARE M16 Luftwaffe 'transitional' double decal steel helmet

Very rare configuration of a M16 WW1 shell, reissued in WW2 for the German air force (Luftwaffe). It's a seldom seen example, complete with double decals but firmly intact. Helmet is painted in early glossy blue luftwaffe color. Complete with early single band liner, still shows blue paint on the aluminum. Split pins show some tempering so liner might have been out at one point in time, but knowing how rare this helmet is, this is not really an issue here. Leather is jn good condition for its age, and still shows an early size stamp, pressed in the leather. Missing in many collection today – I'm lucky to own one, so selling this rare piece.
