M40 Luftwaffe single decal steel helmet hkp64

Interesting mid war produced M40 pattern Luftwaffe helmet in very good condition. The decal on the left side remains nearly 85% intact. The exterior sand mixed paint is typical for this manufacturer (SE/hkp). The helmet is complete with its original liner. The leather is complete and feels supple and strong. Shows minimal wear. The split pins remain unmessed with. The original draw string is present. Comes with its original chin strap, executed in pig-skin leather and was period shortened for more comfort. The helmet shell is maker marked by hkp (former SE) and has a size 64 shell. Lot number 30162.
