This announcement poster of the Dutch Interior Forces (N.B.S.) dates from the liberation period of 1945.The poster was issued by the Regional Commander and the Regional Officer for Civil Affairs of the N.B.S. and is addressed to the population in the newly liberated area, which was still under military administration at the time.The text calls for order, peace, and cooperation, while urging local authorities and government officials to remain at their posts until a lawful government was restored.At the bottom appears the patriotic slogan: 'Long live the Queen!
