This is a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a: 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and nicely machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career- (ie. proficiency-) patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was worn to signify (former) membership within the DLV-organisation and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem still 'virtually mint'- and/or never tunic-attached-), condition. The DLV was an in the year 1933 formed organisation and was Germany's first move to establish the (later formed) airforce, the 'Luftwaffe'. The proficiency badge on offer here was only used and worn for a short period of time. The patch comes in an overall very and/or (I deem) never tunic-attached condition. The patch is neatly machine-embroidered in greyish-white-coloured linnen onto a bright bluish-grey-coloured- (and/or linnen-based) background: moreover, does it show a neatly fortified border as more often seen. Simply a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'DLV'-related trade- and/or special-career patch!
